Webinar: AI in science communication teaching – pedagogies, conundrums and ethics

4 September 2024 – Join us for an insightful webinar on the impact of generative AI in science communication focusing on guidelines for training, ethics and gender issues.

A PCST Symposium was held from 10-12 April 2024, in Zacatecas, Mexico and focused on exploring and promoting effective communication strategies that bring science and technology closer to all people.

The call for proposals for the PCST Conference in Aberdeen, Scotland from 27-29 May 2025 is now live. The conference theme is ‘Science communication for positive change: exploring transitions, traditions, and tensions’.

Preparations are in progress for the 2025 Public Communication of Science and Technology Network Science Communication Conference. Representatives from the PCST Scientific Committee recently visited Aberdeen, where they collaborated with the local organising committee.

7 March 2024: PCST’s Teaching Forum hosted a webinar to take a closer look at practical science communication teaching experiences from around the world.

The Symposium – Civic science and ethics in the age of AI: building trust – will be held from 9-11 July 2024 in Indiana. Save the date!

We invite speakers to contribute to an upcoming PCST Teaching Forum webinar about transforming science communication pedagogy in the age of AI. The webinar will be held on 22 May 2024. The submission deadline is 5pm (CET) on 26 February 2024.
